Team President & Lead Developer

As President of Duke Club Cycling, I lead the university's cycling community while simultaneously developing and maintaining DukeCycling.dev, a custom web platform that centralizes ride scheduling, race logistics, and team resources.

Project Overview

Leadership Through Technology

The Challenge

Managing a collegiate sports team involves complex logistics: coordinating training rides for different skill levels, managing race registrations, and maintaining communication with members. Existing general-purpose tools were fragmented and inefficient for our specific needs.

The Solution: DukeCycling.dev

I built a dedicated platform to serve as the digital hub for the team. The website features a dynamic ride calendar where members can view and submit rides, a race schedule tracker, and a curated list of local cycling resources. This centralized approach has streamlined team operations and improved member engagement.

Leadership & Impact

Beyond the code, my role as President involves strategic planning, budget management, and fostering an inclusive community. The website serves as a tool to support these goals, making it easier for new students to join, find rides, and connect with the broader cycling community in the Research Triangle area.
